The Cooper is truly my new favorite place in Charleston! As a Charleston local, I stayed here for a staycation and was blown away by the entire experience. The staff is absolutely amazing—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spotless with the perfect clean, coastal vibe, the food is fantastic, and the location couldn’t be better. The pool is gorgeous, and the spa was a 10/10 in every way. Everything about The Cooper feels special, relaxing, and thoughtfully done. I already can’t wait to come back!

Had the loveliest staycation here last month. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided exemplary, customized service, plus personal touches throughout the stay. The waterfront room w/ a balcony plus every amenity were absolutely stunning. My personal concierge, Gavin, was knowledgeable, attentive, and so personable; the personal concierge service is remarkably well done here and made it so efficient for any request I had during my stay. They also took great care of my pup, whipping up by far the best meal he’s ever had. And dinner at The Crossing had the best lamb chops I’ve ever had! I also had way too much fun with the room pillow selections. So excited to come back.

I just stayed three nights at this first class hotel! I would give it a 10 in every way. The service is hands down the absolute best in the United States. The staff is trained in elevated hospitality. They notice every little detail down to your coffee order changing from one day to the next. When you walk out of the front door, someone asks if you would like cold water to go. I can go on and on but I will leave it simply as world class hospitality. The property is stunning and the pool overlooking the Harbour is gorgeous! The food and drink are delicious. The rooms are well appointed and I enjoyed the complimentary mini bar snacks. The gym is elevated and much nicer than a hotel gym. I have stayed at many hotels in charleston and so can’t wait to return to the Cooper! A special thank you to Daniel at the front desk.

????? As a Charleston local, I can honestly say The Cooper Hotel is one of the most beautiful places in the city. It’s the only waterfront hotel in Charleston, and the views are simply unmatched. Whether you’re staying overnight or just stopping in, it’s worth the visit. The coffee shop is a wonderful place to start your morning, the restaurant is excellent, and Cooper Bar has quickly become one of my favorite spots to meet friends for drinks. The entire property is stunning, with impeccable attention to detail and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly sets this hotel apart. The doormen are incredibly friendly and professional, making every guest feel special from the moment they arrive. I also love the complimentary Club Car service—it’s such a thoughtful touch and makes getting around even more enjoyable. Charleston has no shortage of beautiful places, but The Cooper Hotel has created something truly exceptional. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or you’re a local looking for a special night out, this is a place you’ll want to experience again and again. Five stars all the way!

From the moment we arrived, the level of service at The Cooper was nothing short of exceptional. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, comfortable, and seamless. We would like to give a very special thank you to your Manager, Ross, whose attention to detail and dedication to guest experience truly stood out. Ross seemed to dot every "i" and cross very "t", ensuring that every aspect of our stay was handled with professionalism and care. What impressed us most was his willingness to personally dedicate his time to accommodate us and make certain that everything exceeded our expectations. Gavin, our personal concierge, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and personable. She made us feel genuinely valued as guests, had a great listening ear for all of our family stories, and provided outstanding recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. Shelby, at the poolside bar, was equally wonderful - friendly, attentive, and engaging. She took exceptional care of our teenage girls and made them feel included and comfortable in such a thoughtful and gracious way. We also want to recognize sweet CeCe and Ravin, from the pool as well, who were both so kind and pleasant. Their cheerful attitudes and excellent service added so much to our overall experience. It is rare to encounter a team so committed to hospitality and genuine guest care. The Cooper has assembled an outstanding staff, and because of them, our stay was truly unforgettable and we look forward to returning again soon!
