Excellent stay! We enjoyed our stay at Staybridge Suites-Mt Pleasant. Great location, clean and spacious rooms. Free breakfast. Complimentary beer and wine happy hour during weekdays. Staff were really nice and helpful. Que at the front desk was especially friendly. Easy 15 minute drive to downtown Charleston and 15 minute drive to Isle of Palms Beach. Folly beach is close too. The free laundry machines were a plus! We washed all our swimwear and towels as soon as we got back from the beach.

Amazing value for hotel. Super clean and had a great time with the staff, who I asked to change our room as I preferred a higher floor and he did so immediately, while dealing with another situation at the same time (if you’re the guy I’m so sorry I interpreted your call with the cops). We happened to come while a room was being very rowdy and he dealt with it extremely professionally (had to call the cops on them). His calm demeanour throughout the situation was extremely impressive, and if you’re the owner reading this please give the guy at the front the evening of May 31 a raise. Again this situation was extremely abnormal and how they dealt with it is further proof this hotel is one of the best in Charleston. If you’re travelling here for any reason this is the place to stay!

The room was just OK. It was a strange layout. They have a daily hot breakfast, but it tended to be overcooked. Waffles were ok, fresh fruit was good. The service desk was very friendly.

Great location with better than average breakfast. Nice rooms and reasonably quiet given it's location. Housekeeping is a bust, however. Checked in Saturday and was not told "housekeeping on request" or "every other day" or any info. On Sunday I was told that they clean weekdays. Monday evening I was told that they should have cleaned my room. I asked to make sure we get something done Tuesday , towels at least. Today, Tuesday, I get a call asking if I want housekeeping then what service would I like. What??? Confused .

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. During the course of our weekend stay the entire staff we met were exceptionally friendly. The hotel was very clean and well maintained through out. The only complaint we had was the pool, it was not heated! The fact that the pool was not heated was a minor problem and would only effect those with young children or elderly on blood thinners so I feel this should be mentioned at least. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel and others like it again in the future. We booked a king suite had a very clean room, large shower, sofa, desk and even a refrigerator, small cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher. I highly recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway!

Cleanest hotel I have every stayed at! Room was nice and fully stocked with everything you need. Bed was amazingly comfortable! Customer service was amazing as well! Do not continue your hotel search, you have found what you need! Close to everything as well!

Everything about this hotel was absolutely great! The staff was friendly and Michelle at the front desk was not only professional but she was also highly patient and kind! The room was spacious and we had a full size fridge which was perfect for our trip. Hotel and room were both very clean and the lobby was beautiful and they even had the fireplace going as well. Definitely would stay here again!

I was so impressed with everything about my stay here. As a frequent traveler, I will be looking out for Stay ridges in the future. Rooms very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Linens, pillows, mattress, great quality. Friendly staff! Excellent breakfast! Great value too! Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay! The front desk was pleasant and responsive. Close to attractions and amenities. Our room was comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed so we didn't have to go out for every meal. The breakfast was wonderfully maintained. Thank you for the hard boiled eggs and fruit.

Spacious rooms with mini kitchen and entertainment center and pullout couch. Friendly staff and they show appreciation for the guest. Literally, this location has customer appreciation every week and provide free drinks and a place to connect with others socially. Going back December 31 2025 for new years 2026.
