The Indigo Inn receives consistently positive reviews, largely due to its convenient location, affordability, and pleasant amenities like complimentary wine and cheese hours and a delightful courtyard. While some guests note minor construction or potential noise, the overall experience is considered excellent, particularly for exploring Charleston.

The hotel is located in very convenient location. Just around the the corner from the market and it's only a short walk through a stunning neighborhood to the waterfront. The staff and accommodation were great and the complimentary charcuterie board and wine was a lovely treat.

Good place. Loved the continental breakfast and "Evening Reception". Service was also on point. Location in town was very good. Our room was close to the housekeeping area on the second floor which made it noisy and unsightly. They should consider a new arrangement from the current one of keeping 3 or 4 carts in the hallway. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay at the Indigo Inn, the location cannot be beat for the price! Lovely rooms with a beautiful courtyard. Steps away from the market. Lovely wine and cheese hour and coffee and tea service 24/7. Each of the staff I met were kind and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

A great value for the location. Parking is convenient and priced well. The rooms have been updated and I appreciate the hard surface floors. So glad hotels are moving away from carpeting. Our room was a corner king, with a small window overlooking the parking lot. It was near the elevator, which made it a bit noisy as I could hear the elevator running and people getting off late in the evening. I would stay here again in a courtyard view room away from the elevator. The courtyard is lovely and in better weather would be ideal for enjoying the complementary evening wine and cheese and morning breakfast.

Staying here was great. My family stayed 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to everything you would want to go see or go shopping within the city. There are restaurants located right out front of the hotel. Make sure you bring some good shoes for walking because we walked between 4 to 8 miles exploring the city each day. We decided to keep our vehicle parked at the hotel because that was the easiest option. The parking lot is tight so if you have a big vehicle it can be tricky.

Very friendly service, every staff member was kind and thoughtful. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed & the pillows were amazing. The location was really convenient, in the heart of the historic district. They offered afternoon wine/beer & charcuterie board, evening milk & fresh baked cookies, plus a nice selection for breakfast. Their coffee was delicious & available 24/7.

Indigo Inn was the perfect place for us to stay for our one-night anniversary getaway. The location is perfection without sacrificing affordability. The lobby is quaint but welcoming. Guests can enjoy a light, complimentary breakfast in the morning, charcuterie and drinks in the evening, and a "night cap" by way of cookies & milk. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. It appeared to be recently renovated. The hotel is nestled in the heart of downtown across from Hymans Seafood, a Charleston must-try, and about a walk from the Charleston market. We will absolutely stay here again and we highly recommend you giving it a try!

This is a wonderful hotel right near everything in Charleston. Our room faced the atrium which was like being in a park. There was complimentary wine and cheese in the late afternoon that was a really nice touch and it has a parking lot for a nightly fee. The rooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel building is old and somewhat small. It has a really nice central courtyard with tables and chairs and a fountain. The rooms all open onto the courtyard. They are in the process of renovating the rooms and were working on several of them while we were there. Despite the construction it was not noisy. I'm not sure if the room we stayed in had been renovated yet or not, but it was fine and was very clean. The only negatives about the room were the very small bathroom and firewalled internet that blocked access to some innocuous web sites/services (like Facebook Messenger and Pogo.com). Plusses include friendly staff, free continental breakfast in the morning, free wine and cheese in the evening, and free cookies later in the evening. Parking is available at $25/night which seems like a pretty good deal for the area. The location is great! The hotel is within walking distance to many historic sites, shopping, museums, great restaurants, and parks.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is in a really nice location right across the bridge from downtown Charleston so that you’re not stuck with all of the downtown traffic and it also has easy access to the beach and it is nice and quiet compared to other hotels. It’s also a lot more affordable since it’s not in the heart of the city, but it’s so much nicer than the other hotels in the same area surrounding it. The staff was phenomenal. Every single person there was welcoming and very helpful and attentive. I was really happy with the restaurant which had food that was healthy, and a nice variety of options. The drinks were delicious and they were not too light or heavy-handed with alcohol. I really enjoyed sitting outside near the pool where they had different kinds of games and a little heated area because it was cold out and the view from the room of the bridge lit up was so pretty. There was also a Christmas parade that I got to see and some fireworks that you could see from the hotel Also, whoever decorated the hotel for Christmas did a really nice job. The two Christmas trees were so pretty and they had put little Santa hats on their alligator statues and the water dispensers were giant Christmas ornaments. It was just so cute! In the rooms were comfortable, clean, and furnished with modern upgrades, such as places to easily charge your devices.
