Me and my husband stayed here for just one day and night but we felt so welcome! The staff was very friendly. We had just flown a rough red eye flight from Utah and wanted the rest of our day to go smooth. John was our shuttle driver from the airport and he was awesome! We still talk about meeting him frequently and how funny and wise he is. Our room was so clean, the gym area was great, and breakfast was very good.

We only stayed for one night to see a show at the North Charleston Coliseum, and we had a great experience at this hotel. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me, and this place delivered. If you have weird, OCD hangups like me, then you’re safe here! It says they are pet friendly, but you’d never know it. They also have a nice setup in the lobby for breakfast with good coffee. Lots of seating and a bar as well. I would definitely stay again. You’re close to the coliseum with some food options within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend!

My stay at the Element by Marriott in North Charleston from July 12–17 was fantastic! The hotel still feels fresh and new, and my room was spotless from the moment I walked in. I stayed in a fully furnished suite with a comfortable couch, a spacious desk, an electric stove, and a full-size refrigerator—everything I needed to feel right at home. The bed deserves a special mention because it was *so* comfortable that every morning I had to negotiate with myself to get out of it. If hotels gave out awards for "Best Excuse to Sleep In," this bed would be a strong contender! The amenities were another big plus. Having an on-site laundry room made a longer stay so much more convenient, and the Wi-Fi was consistently fast and reliable. No random disconnects, no buffering—just smooth internet the entire time. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped hotel that made my stay easy and enjoyable. I'd gladly stay here again the next time I'm in the Charleston area. Highly recommended!

We have been here since yesterday and we have had the best service. We are a larger group and it appears theres another large group as well and no matter what we ask for the staff does it with a smile. Tasha at the bar is AMAZING, Darlene at the front desk is so friendly and the operations manager Tim has to live onsite because he has been here since yesterday it seems like and he has been at the front desk, in the kitchen and the bar, grabbed me some new linen for the room and was cleaning up the lobby area. I notice things like that because as a manager myself, my thoughts are I will never ask my staff to do anything I will not do myself. Great choice in Staff at this hotel keep it up and I hope they are given their kudos by upper management

Was in town for a conference and location is very convenient to convention center. Shoutout to Mr. John, the shuttle driver for getting us to and from the conference safely and with good conversation. Thank you to Michael for filling that same role in the evening. Thank you to Tasha for excellent service at the bar/restaurant. Front desk staff were also kind and helpful. Rooms were super nice. Only wish there were a few more hot breakfast items ready to grab and go. They have a gentleman making omelets but if you get there at the wrong time, the line for those can be long. Overall and great stay and would highly recommend!

I'll not usually super enamored by hotels, but I was actually pretty impressed with this one. It's relatively close to the airport as well as lots of dining and shopping. The room was cleaner than most hotels' rooms and the layout was pretty nice, too. You have a kitchen, living room, and bathroom as you enter and the master bedroom is separate with a sliding door. Blackout curtains are in tracks for very effective blocking. There is a shuttle, but it doesn't run on the weekend. Staff was friendly enough. I'll certainly stay here again if I find myself in the area.

The hotel was wonderful. Rooms were VERY clean and they had little kitchenettes with purified water to drink! The service was wonderful and the workers are very friendly! Latasha the bartender was wonderful. The free breakfast was yummy. The only recommendation I would make is to have a protein without a meat in it. Both egg items had meat in them. Location was great, hotel was beautiful, overall 5+++ ; we were super impressed. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Element Hotel Charleston Airport and it was absolutely wonderful. The service was incredible—this is a three-star hotel with five-star treatment. We had everything we could have possibly asked for. Breakfast was free, which is always a win, and the espresso machine in the lobby was actually delicious—the only way I drank coffee while I was there. The staff were all genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable—extra lemons, extra towels, making sure we had everything we needed. No fake customer service vibes—just genuinely kind people, and I felt like I actually made real connections with a few of them. The rooms were huge, the beds were super comfy, and the linens smelled so clean. The whole hotel was spotless—the lobby, the rooms, everything. The lobby is open and modern, and I felt totally comfortable just hanging out there in the mornings with my coffee. There are games you can play, coffee table books, TVs showing things like the Olympics—it was just a really great place to be. Even being so close to the airport, it was incredibly quiet—I barely noticed any planes overhead. All in all, it was a magical stay. Highly recommend if you’re in Charleston and want comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely thoughtful service.

CHS ELEMENT has RUINED my travel!!! .... but in a good way! I now compare EVERY hotel I stay in against the benchmark standard of the Charleston Element. In my industry, customer service are the top 3 priorities in life and this Element gets a 10 out of 5 stars for how they approach customer service! It's one thing when a GM is polite and friendly (and Jennifer is way beyond that!) but when every single employee that you interact with is polite, friendly, and helpful, you know that is a top down commitment to customer service. The rooms are well laid out for every type of traveler on the planet. The long term stay amenities are on point and I don't believe that I have ever wanted for anything regardless of the length of my stay. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and the AC works as any guest would prefer. The breakfast team are fabulous and friendly and willing to help you find anything and make you laugh along the way. The gym is exceptional with a plethora of machines, cardio, and free weights. Very nice and roomy. The onsite laundry is a blessing to families and road warriors alike. I was able to enjoy the pool and the grill a few times last time and I am looking forward to more pool time at the Element this season. The team does an excellent job of maintaining the outdoor areas. There are a ton of restaurants within walking distance and being across the street from Top Golf is not a bad thing either. Don't sleep on the Element Charleston, but DO sleep in it! I wouldn't steer you wrong on this one!

As a "professional" traveler, this hotel "checks all my boxes". Chris (Ast General Manager) was exceptionally hospitable and accommodating...he truly understands "hospitality". Tim at the front desk was friendly and, when we extended a night, even remembered our late check out! Facilities, hallways and rooms were clean, spacious and modern, beds comfortable, good pillows and everything worked! Breakfast was decent with friendly staff. The hotel itself is conveniently located, quiet, reasonably priced, with plenty of parking...what more can one ask for? HIGHLY recommend this property!!! Keeping up the great work...Thank You!!!
