The Element Charleston Airport consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and exceptional service. Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff, delicious breakfast, and comfortable rooms, making it a popular choice for both business and leisure travelers. While the immediate area has some concerning visual aspects, the hotel itself offers a superior experience.

The hotel was wonderful. Rooms were VERY clean and they had little kitchenettes with purified water to drink! The service was wonderful and the workers are very friendly! Latasha the bartender was wonderful. The free breakfast was yummy. The only recommendation I would make is to have a protein without a meat in it. Both egg items had meat in them. Location was great, hotel was beautiful, overall 5+++ ; we were super impressed. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Element Hotel Charleston Airport and it was absolutely wonderful. The service was incredible—this is a three-star hotel with five-star treatment. We had everything we could have possibly asked for. Breakfast was free, which is always a win, and the espresso machine in the lobby was actually delicious—the only way I drank coffee while I was there. The staff were all genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable—extra lemons, extra towels, making sure we had everything we needed. No fake customer service vibes—just genuinely kind people, and I felt like I actually made real connections with a few of them. The rooms were huge, the beds were super comfy, and the linens smelled so clean. The whole hotel was spotless—the lobby, the rooms, everything. The lobby is open and modern, and I felt totally comfortable just hanging out there in the mornings with my coffee. There are games you can play, coffee table books, TVs showing things like the Olympics—it was just a really great place to be. Even being so close to the airport, it was incredibly quiet—I barely noticed any planes overhead. All in all, it was a magical stay. Highly recommend if you’re in Charleston and want comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely thoughtful service.

CHS ELEMENT has RUINED my travel!!! .... but in a good way! I now compare EVERY hotel I stay in against the benchmark standard of the Charleston Element. In my industry, customer service are the top 3 priorities in life and this Element gets a 10 out of 5 stars for how they approach customer service! It's one thing when a GM is polite and friendly (and Jennifer is way beyond that!) but when every single employee that you interact with is polite, friendly, and helpful, you know that is a top down commitment to customer service. The rooms are well laid out for every type of traveler on the planet. The long term stay amenities are on point and I don't believe that I have ever wanted for anything regardless of the length of my stay. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and the AC works as any guest would prefer. The breakfast team are fabulous and friendly and willing to help you find anything and make you laugh along the way. The gym is exceptional with a plethora of machines, cardio, and free weights. Very nice and roomy. The onsite laundry is a blessing to families and road warriors alike. I was able to enjoy the pool and the grill a few times last time and I am looking forward to more pool time at the Element this season. The team does an excellent job of maintaining the outdoor areas. There are a ton of restaurants within walking distance and being across the street from Top Golf is not a bad thing either. Don't sleep on the Element Charleston, but DO sleep in it! I wouldn't steer you wrong on this one!

As a "professional" traveler, this hotel "checks all my boxes". Chris (Ast General Manager) was exceptionally hospitable and accommodating...he truly understands "hospitality". Tim at the front desk was friendly and, when we extended a night, even remembered our late check out! Facilities, hallways and rooms were clean, spacious and modern, beds comfortable, good pillows and everything worked! Breakfast was decent with friendly staff. The hotel itself is conveniently located, quiet, reasonably priced, with plenty of parking...what more can one ask for? HIGHLY recommend this property!!! Keeping up the great work...Thank You!!!

This hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tasha in the lobby bar was so kind and gave fantastic recommendations for dinner. Morning breakfast was fresh and tasty, served with a warm welcome from the staff. The room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect, just a 20 minute drive to all the great spots in Charleston. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at the Element! The hotel is SUPER clean, very conveniently located and the rooms are in excellent condition. The hotel just opened in May 2025 so it still has that new feel to it. The rooms are large, the kitchen area is extremely nice and helpful. I love the modern look and would definitely stay again. The Espresso machine available in the lobby 24 hours a day was a huge benefit and the FREE breakfast every day is 10/10. We had French Toast, Pancakes and excited to see what the offering is tomorrow but they make it fresh in front of you. I was chatting with Keisha, she is an excellent guest services agent and she let me know the muffins were made from scratch daily so I had to try the Cranberry Orange Muffin this morning. I highly, highly recommend the hotel! We didn’t get to swim because of the weather but the outdoor pool area looked super cute with two outdoor TVs as well. The only reason I wouldn't give the location 5 stars is because some of the hotels around here look like they could use some serious improvements.

There are plenty of hotels near the CHS airport to choose from but the Element rivals anything downtown for customer service and quality stay. First you are greeted by two lovely and caring front desk people Stephan and/or Gigi. If you have a special request they will do their best to make it happen - excellent first impressions and they remember you even after a 6 week break in our visits! Both Gigi and Stephan have the southern manners and charm that seems to be a dying art these days. Then there is Tasha and Tai who are THE BEST cooks (their bar food is better than any of the surrounding restaurants seriously) and most fun customer service ladies that have big hearts and the kindest manners, did I mention great bartenders?? They truly deserve excellent tips - don't forget to reward their enthusiasm and talent, they work harder and produce incredible products for this hotel. Thanks for hiring them Jennifer! You know the importance of repeat customers and making patrons happy. Then there is the breakfast crew of John and Betty who make you feel like you are part of their family just from their smiles and entertaining personalities. Tai's homemade muffins are the best and their specially curated daily options are diverse and delicious thanks to Tai's and Tasha's love of cooking. We are incredibly fortunate to have come here twice now and we will be back again soon. Mike the shuttle driver also helps Tasha balance the bar demands and this place truly is set up for mingling and winding down after a hectic day. Such a great "family" to come back to each night. Best home away from home in Charleston. A++++++

My husband, dogs and I stayed here for a very “spur the moment” trip and it was all that we could have imagined. The hotel itself is very clean & nice with amenities that suited our every need. From the in room kitchen, water filter, black out curtains, etc. everything was at our finger tips. The breakfast itself was wonderful and had options for everyone - including freshly ground coffee which made the trip worth it all in itself. The staff were wonderful and greeted us with a “good morning” or “hello” every time we encountered them. We did not have to use the airport for our trip, but loved watching the airplanes come in/go out. The lot for our dogs to use the restroom/walk around was perfect and easily accessible as well. My husband and I both agreed that this was the most stress free stay we have ever had.

Ms Gerney Perry the front desk supervisor welcomed us and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Ms Gerney Perry is an asset to your hotel and all your customers. She genuinely care and is very professional. All the employees we interacted with had a great attitude, always displaying a smile on their faces and were anxious and ready to make your stay confortable. Mr John the breakfast attendant and the breakfast cook did an outstanding job and the food quality and the cleanliness of the dining room was excellent. Our bedroom suite was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the decor of the room very nice . The housekeepers are doing a good job keeping our bedroom clean and they were all very pleasant when interacting with us .

As someone who stays at hotels every week, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Clean, new, spacious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. Huge shoutout the John, the breakfast attendant. He made my stay memorable. Also filtered water in the rooms was a great addition. Thank you!
