Awesome location! Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The manager this week fulfilled my request and had our room setup with snacks and wine for our celebration!! Only problems were the feathers from the pillow/down comforters and the allowance of pets!

I stayed the 4th of July weekend..So disappointed..1. The plastic in the closet thaf has the extra pillow and blanket was disgusting and smelled !!! I attempted to call the front desk and phones were not working. I had to use my cell phone to ask for additional sheets,towels and pillows.I was told by the front desk that the sheets and pillows will be brought up to my room and the Robot had to deliver the towels.That night the Robot never came with towels.The next day I was informed by A different front desk person who stated he did not know why I was told that the robot would deliver the towels because those requests are done through the room phone.I was informed by the font desk that new towels will be dropped off to my room, I never received the towels again. I went back to front desk later that night and was told hotel were out of clean towels.. The morning of checkout that was when I was offered towels. The view was of the dumpster area.. I must say, I was shocked by the service.

After a terrible experience at a Hilton property, I cannot say enough positive things about this Hyatt location in Mount Pleasant. Staff was great, room was great, hotel was clean and neat, and the free breakfast and parking were also amazing. Ideal location for shopping, food, and getting to the Isle of Palms Beach. Drive to Charleston was less than 20 minutes and very scenic.

Hot and food is bad. This is our third stay and this does not live up to the Hyatt brand. Breakfast was stale french toast sticks and overcooked eggs. This is our last stay as the quality has declined significantly. Our room was incredibly hot even the lobby was hot. And I know its SC in the summer, we live in the upstate but this is just too much.

We recently stayed here while visiting Charleston. The hotel is located inside a shopping mall. It's pretty new. Room is clean and well maintained. Front desk is very friendly. Breakfast is great (better than other holiday Inn locations). Location wise it's a bit far away from Charleston historic area but not too bad (20 min drive). Highly recommend this location.

Great location. Good complimentary breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean. The deck off the lobby is really nice. We went around Christmas and it was decorated nicely. No problems with service dogs.

This was, without question, the most disappointing stay I have had within the Hyatt portfolio. I am a World of Hyatt Globalist (Hyatt’s highest membership tier) and stay at multiple Hyatt properties worldwide throughout the year for work. Despite that loyalty, there was no recognition, compensation or meaningful effort to address the issues encountered during this stay at the Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant. The primary issue is noise. My initial room was located next to the elevator. After a late 1am check-in, I was woken shortly after 6am by hallway traffic, elevator chimes, guests moving about, and noise from adjacent rooms. The soundproofing throughout the building appears to be fundamentally inadequate — normal conversations and routine activity were clearly audible through the walls and door. I later requested to be moved to another room away from the elevator, but the problem persisted. Internal hallway noise, housekeeping operations, and exterior noise were all easily heard. This is not an isolated room issue; it appears to be a building-wide construction deficiency. To add to the experience, the view from the room was directly over dumpster bins (photo attached). For a property carrying the Hyatt name, the overall experience felt far below brand standards. The included breakfast was mediocre at best. The dining area was generally dirty, and tables not properly wiped clean. Guests were responsible for dropping their own dirty dishes off to be cleaned. The place felt more like a high school cafeteria. Additionally as others have reported, the shower water is lukewarm at best. Hyatt is generally known for consistency and quality. Unfortunately, this property falls well short of that expectation. If rest, quiet, or even basic room standards matter to you, I would strongly suggest considering alternative accommodations.

Spacious rooms, better than average breakfast, good bed, quiet, convenient parking, excellent service (especially Parker at the front desk & Parker at the bar/grill). Not many places to eat after 8pm.

I look forward to my next stay as everything was so peaceful clean and welcoming. Great nights rest. The entire staff made me feel weclomed, making themselves available & eager to assist with anything I needed. The rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Pool is heated very clean area, in addition to the 2nd floor lounge area inside and outside serene and clean with beautiful comfortable decor throughout. Walking score is 10, I literally parked my vehicle in the covered secure garage upon arrival and walked to stores like Belk's, Lululemon, Aerie, American Eagle and more. There's also wonderful restaurants and a movie theater in Walking distance. I highly recommend Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre to everyone visiting this area for a short stay or long stay, very peaceful and relaxing environment. Great location with attached parking garage. Good breakfast compared to other hotels in this range. Only there one night but wouldn't have wanted to stay there longer than that for a few reasons: Although the space is comfortable with a small sofa, the bathroom is tiny and the lighting is very dim in the entire room and bathroom. While I appreciate that there is a full length mirror in the room and hairdryer, there is really no place to put on makeup or curl your hair. There is a desk but only a worklamp that doesn't move taking up the space. The bathroom does have a large sink but there is only the back lit mirror which is quite dim and in our case only the bottom part of it worked. There is also no way to adjust the room below a pre set temp, however, the hotel was kind to send up a fan upon request. We also travel with our Roku Stick and there was no way to put it in the HDMI slot. Minor inconvenience for just one night as I said. I think this is a nice place to stay for work, or if you just need to shower and sleep after a day of enjoying the area, but we will choose a different place next time.
