Hotel Richemont consistently receives glowing reviews, highlighting exceptional service and a luxurious, beautifully designed atmosphere. Guests rave about the attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and prime downtown location, particularly praising the on-site restaurant, Two Bit Club. It’s a favorite for both first-time and returning visitors to Charleston.
This hotel was incredible. Diane at the front desk made the stay pure magic. The room was beautiful and the location was perfect. All the recommendations from the staff were spot on for our taste. Will stay again every time I visit Charleston.
We stayed in one of the suites for a quick girls trip and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we had an incredible experience. The service was above and beyond in all aspects. Diane met every request with a smile and Lindsay provided the best recommendations! The hotel is right on the corner or Society & King Streets and everything was very walkable. The suite was stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware and well decorated. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be coming back
Our two-night stay in the suite at Hotel Richemont was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. The suite itself was stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed with every comfort you could possibly need. Every detail felt intentional, from the luxurious linens to the elegant décor, creating a space that was both relaxing and indulgent. The two beds-one king and 1 queen was perfect for us 3 girls. We each got a bathroom and the beds were so comfortable! What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the level of care and attention we received for their excellent staff-Diane and Lindsay! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, offering helpful recommendations and making us feel completely at home. It’s rare to find a place that balances professionalism with such a personal touch. They had the sweetest welcome note and treats when we arrived! My girlfriends were so impressed! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a memorable getaway, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already looking forward to our next visit with our husbands!
My wife and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary at Hotel Richemont. The hotel & rooms were first class and the hotel staff was even better. Everyone was so warm, welcoming & helpful. The unsung hero was our valet driver, Brian. Brian was the first person we had contact with during our visit to Charleston and he really set the tone. He was so helpful, friendly and professional. I've never met anyone in any service position who went so above-and-beyond! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I heartily recommend this great hotel.
The Hotel was in a great Walkable location to everything in the district. I did not need a car. The room was gorgeous. Well appointed. I loved the fridge with the drawers, fancy tea selection and the expresso machine. The hotel felt intimate and very upscale and comfortable enough to feel like home for a few days. I loved the sage green color of the paint in the room. Very calming. The built ins in the room felt like I was in a master suite in a fancy mansion. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. I had a small mishap and they were very accommodating when they did not have to be. Very thankful. I stayed there. New Years for a few days. It was very quiet.
Beyond amazing! The room was spacious and perfectly located—just steps from shopping and restaurants. The in-room Nespresso was the ideal way to start the day, paired with delicious fresh croissants and lovely conversations with Aladin in the lobby. Latonya offered fantastic recommendations on the best spots around town, and I truly enjoyed learning more about the history of the property from Isabelle. The Two Bit Club was outstanding—I’ll be dreaming of those short ribs for months to come.
This was our second stay in the last two months and really enjoy the hotel. Rooms are great and the staff all have been very welcoming each time. We had drinks and snacks at the restaurant which were great. Have not eaten at the restaurant but always look busy at night. Location is also great, just off King Street. We have stayed at most all the downtown hotels over the last 10 years and would recommend Hotel Richmont to anyone.
I am just wrapping up my stay here and have had a wonderful experience. The service was phenomenal. From the valet to front desk and housekeeping my welcome was warm. After check-in the attentiveness from everyone I came in contact with showed they place service and customer experience as their priority. I did also want to call out the restaurant - The Two Bit Club. The food was very good (I would happily return), but again, the service was excellent. I sat in the bar and the bar staff was friendly and polite, and even brought me a little complimentary appetizer, which was the Yellowtail Crudo, scrumptious! Thank you to Vitus for a wonderful dinner.
I usually don't write reviews but I made an exception for the Hotel Richemond. This hotel was beautiful, super clean, and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom were a good size for a couple, with a balcony and a steamer for your wrinkly clothes. The staff was great from the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and a friendly demeanor. It was like we were greeted by old friends. Plus downstairs we had the best dining experience ever! The two-bit club food was awesome and their staff was amazing! A big shout out to Alyssa she was the best. Overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!
Loved staying at this new Charleston boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. The Richemont had a welcoming staff that was very attentive and made sure you felt right at home. The restaurant on the first floor, Two Bit Club, had great cocktails and a fun Asian flare menu. The rooms were clean and had a fresh hotel vibe. The beds, linens, pillows and sheets were all high quality and comfortable. The room came with 2 luxury bath robes which I feel is always overlooked. It was my birthday and they left a bottle of champagne and kind handwritten note. Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone staying downtown! Walkable to all the shops and other restaurants and bars. We had a great stay here! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Charleston hotel! We’ll be back!
