Hotel Richemont consistently receives glowing reviews, praised for its upscale ambiance, prime downtown Charleston location, and exceptionally attentive service. Guests highlight the comfortable rooms, delicious dining at the Two Bit Club, and the hotel’s warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is known for its thoughtful touches and ability to make guests feel like valued visitors.
The Hotel was in a great Walkable location to everything in the district. I did not need a car. The room was gorgeous. Well appointed. I loved the fridge with the drawers, fancy tea selection and the expresso machine. The hotel felt intimate and very upscale and comfortable enough to feel like home for a few days. I loved the sage green color of the paint in the room. Very calming. The built ins in the room felt like I was in a master suite in a fancy mansion. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. I had a small mishap and they were very accommodating when they did not have to be. Very thankful. I stayed there. New Years for a few days. It was very quiet.
Beyond amazing! The room was spacious and perfectly located—just steps from shopping and restaurants. The in-room Nespresso was the ideal way to start the day, paired with delicious fresh croissants and lovely conversations with Aladin in the lobby. Latonya offered fantastic recommendations on the best spots around town, and I truly enjoyed learning more about the history of the property from Isabelle. The Two Bit Club was outstanding—I’ll be dreaming of those short ribs for months to come.
This was our second stay in the last two months and really enjoy the hotel. Rooms are great and the staff all have been very welcoming each time. We had drinks and snacks at the restaurant which were great. Have not eaten at the restaurant but always look busy at night. Location is also great, just off King Street. We have stayed at most all the downtown hotels over the last 10 years and would recommend Hotel Richmont to anyone.
I am just wrapping up my stay here and have had a wonderful experience. The service was phenomenal. From the valet to front desk and housekeeping my welcome was warm. After check-in the attentiveness from everyone I came in contact with showed they place service and customer experience as their priority. I did also want to call out the restaurant - The Two Bit Club. The food was very good (I would happily return), but again, the service was excellent. I sat in the bar and the bar staff was friendly and polite, and even brought me a little complimentary appetizer, which was the Yellowtail Crudo, scrumptious! Thank you to Vitus for a wonderful dinner.
I usually don't write reviews but I made an exception for the Hotel Richemond. This hotel was beautiful, super clean, and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom were a good size for a couple, with a balcony and a steamer for your wrinkly clothes. The staff was great from the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and a friendly demeanor. It was like we were greeted by old friends. Plus downstairs we had the best dining experience ever! The two-bit club food was awesome and their staff was amazing! A big shout out to Alyssa she was the best. Overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!
Loved staying at this new Charleston boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. The Richemont had a welcoming staff that was very attentive and made sure you felt right at home. The restaurant on the first floor, Two Bit Club, had great cocktails and a fun Asian flare menu. The rooms were clean and had a fresh hotel vibe. The beds, linens, pillows and sheets were all high quality and comfortable. The room came with 2 luxury bath robes which I feel is always overlooked. It was my birthday and they left a bottle of champagne and kind handwritten note. Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone staying downtown! Walkable to all the shops and other restaurants and bars. We had a great stay here! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Charleston hotel! We’ll be back!
Exceptional stay. From check in to checkout out the staff was phenomenal. I had a birthday gift delivered & Matthew and the other great staff members made the delivery easy for me. In addition they included a local flavor birthday gift for me. The room was very well appointed. The luxury linens & soaps were appreciated. We enjoyed delicious coffee & croissants in the morning. The location near King Street is perfect. The staff helped make this experience over the top. Each employee expressed friendly Southern hospitality. Our special requests were made with smiles. I highly recommend staying here.
We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Richemont in Charleston! The hotel is spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel so special. The staff was so nice and the location is perfect—an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We also celebrated a birthday at the on-site restaurant, Two Bit Club, and they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant for anyone visiting Charleston!
During this trip we experienced the most professional staff we have seen in a hotel in a long time. From the valet, front desk and the room cleaning service personal we found them to be above expectations. The location is perfect and close to everything. The Hotel itself is spotless and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This place is a great experience and we can’t wait to come back. Thanks Hotel Richemont for making this a first class experience for me and my family.
I absolutely LOVED my stay at Hotel Richemont! My hotel room was SO homey with complimentary cookies and a candle waiting for me when I walked in. My shower was HUGE and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I even had a cute little balcony to get some fresh sunshine in the morning! The design of the building itself stood out to me the most. The open brick walls and moody wallpaper have a luxurious feel. And the patio outside the lobby was the perfect spot to eat breakfast from the delicious breakfast bar in the morning! Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Charleston, especially since it’s right on King Street in close to shopping and good food.
