It was okay. Rooms were clean. However, no one came to get the garbage, and I stayed 4 nights. Their ovens were broken, so breakfast was just cereal or some toast. The pancake machine was broken, too. The elevator was very slow, but it is conveniently located.

My wife and I recently spent a night at the Holiday Inn Express in Charleston and were very pleased with our stay. We booked a king suite, which was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. When we checked in, the night clerk was very apologetic because our room was located on the third floor between the elevator and the ice machine. Fortunately, it turned out not to be an issue. We hardly noticed any noise from the elevator, and there was only a small amount of traffic at the ice machine in the morning. The complimentary breakfast was average, but unfortunately the coffee machines were malfunctioning, so no coffee was available during breakfast. On a positive note, the staff accommodated our request for a late checkout, giving us an extra half hour, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again.

Clean rooms, good service, perfect location that has so many restaurants around. Breakfast is good value and i enjoy the 24hr coffee machine in the lobby that starts to grind and brew coffee when i choose to. Highly recommended!

Hotel was very well positioned to get to things if you didn’t want to be right near downtown. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast in the morning had a good selection of food and was nice if you wanted something in the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was great from start to finish. Check-in was quick and easy… it took less than two minutes to get our keys and head to our room. The room was perfect for our family, with plenty of space for my husband, our two children, and me. Everything was clean and well-kept, and breakfast was good as well. We were in town for a tournament, and the hotel was conveniently located and easy to access, which made our trip even smoother. We will definitely be back and will stay here again when we’re in the Charleston area!

Very clean rooms, great staff. Only complaint was the light on the microwave at the bottom ( it was a plug and phone charger.. never seen this before) it was so bright that it shined in your face all night while trying to sleep. I had to end up putting a towel over it so it would help dim it. Other than that great stay

Holiday Inn Express, more like Covence Store Express. The cleaning staff casually cussed in front me and straight up refused to "clean duvets because they didn't feel like it." I went to ask for more body wash because the wall system was out. When I returned, they left a bottle on the bathroom sink and didn't bother to replace the old one. They also had a dirty well used bath mat rolled up and placed on the side of the tub like I was to reuse it. The bathroom faucets all had water residue caked in to the handle. Sanitation department should investigate this place.

Horrible first impression of CHS. I mean, this was a cheap hotel option but I still way over-paid. Do yourself a favor and go across the street! Staff - C’mon… it was 4 PM and home girl was really rude and unwelcoming. Noise - VERY loud. I was woken up every hour by the noise in the hallways and janitorial closet. Room - yuck. Random hairs, micro filth. The furniture looks like it was bought from a local rage room. WiFi - Connected, just doesn’t work. I work remotely so that sucked. Location - Fantastic. Close to everything.

Mr. Lawrence Is An Incredible General Manager! He went above and Beyond to Accommodate me and my team! Extremely Professional, and Very kind! The rooms Are Renovated, Beds Comfortable and Up to Date! I Highly Recommend A Stay Here We Stayed Several Nights! Heather was very Helpful and Always tried to Help me whenever I asked for something. Thank you Guys for doing Such a wonderful Job the whole Staff! Great Hotel!

I recently stayed here for a night for kid's soccer tournament. Overall it's a decent hotel. Beds were comfortable, AC was working as expected,bathroom was clean & equipped.Overall room was satisfactory. Breakfast area was clean & had decent breakfast. Front desk staff was courteous & helpful. I will request management to keep drinking water available in common/breakfast area. It was not comfortable to get drinking water from the gym.
