There is only one place for me to stay when I come down to Charleston, SC: the Summerville Garden Inn. I speak from experience as I have been on the road between my military and civilian careers more times than I care to count. Here they treat you like family, taking the time to know and remember you when you return. Troy and his front desk team are outstanding! The facilities always feel like a brand-new hotel. Customer service is outstanding! And when one does have an issue, it is promptly taken care of and done right the first time!

The cleanliness and no ventilation system in the bathroom was not okay. There was no ventilation in either of the rooms we stayed in causing the bathroom to fog up immediately and cause the room to smell of an odor (mold). Upon giving the hotel another chance and booking another stay; thinking. maybe it was just that particular room, I had asked them if they had a ventilation system and they said yes. I thought it would’ve a better experience but this room was dirtier and did not exhaust either. It was not okay that the housekeeping ladies quite literally barged into our room at 9am. I was still sleeping at the time but they woke me mid sleep knocking on the door and proceeding to walk in with no warning. The location of the hotel itself is great I just wish I would have had a better experience and not spent my money here.

I have traveled a lot over the years but this is by far the worst experience I couldve ever asked for. The room was disgusting upon arrival dirty broken hair clip under the ac (my dad who is 70 and im 31 both short hair wasnt ours) and some random party streamer amongst other things. Before even sitting my stuff down in the room. Oh yeah they cleaned our room ONCE since wednesday. Even brought these pictures to the front desks attention and they just shrugged. I spent a lot of money for my stay since they only cleaned the room once throughout our stay we had to get extra towels from the front desk. And they were supposed to send someone to get our trash they never did. Beds were also super uncomfortable not the worst not the best. The only positive thing about the entire thing was the shower was pretty good. But for $920 I was better off staying at a motel for the quality I got for my stay. The event I came down here for at least was amazing as well! But that doesnt pertain to the review.

Overall good stay but big problem with king bed. The platform that held up the boxspring and mattress looked like it was for a queen bed set up. It did not come close to supporting the edges of the bed. I brought this to their attention during checkout so I hope it was fixed. Stayed 5/14/26. Room 205 I believe.

First off, the hotel is a great place to stay for whatever your needs are and I have a little bit experience staying at hotels as I am lifetime Diamond member. Everything at the hotel feels like it is brand new! I had an issue with the room and entire team took steps to make it right from Madison at the front desk to Troy the manager and finally Keith the GM all took the time to help me out. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had and would recommend the Hiliton Garden Inn Summerville to everyone!

I liked it. It was in a great location. It would have gotten 5 stars, but they nickel and dime you for breakfast. Other places include it. This place charged an extra 15 a day. Just include it in the room cost. It's embarrassing. It's not the staffs fault. it's not the locations fault. it's not the buildings fault. It's corporates fault. It's really gross. I stay with hilton when I travel, and this is just atrocious. I'd be ashamed of my self if I was squeezing my customers like this. I'm already paying a premium just to stay at a hilton. I get that part, but there are other option just as good. They include the breakfast. Rethink some of your customer loyalty or they might rethink there brand loyalty.

I had a very pleasant stay at Home2 Suites. The room was clean and well-maintained, meeting the Hilton standard I'm accustomed to. Both the room and bathroom were spacious, offering plenty of lighting and a comfortable layout. Even though my room was located close to the elevator, it was impressively quiet throughout my stay. One of my favorite features was the blackout shades, which made it easy to get great rest. While I didn't use the hotel amenities, I appreciated that the property offered a gym, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, ample seating in the lobby, and a computer station available for printing when needed. The hotel is located in a convenient and safe area, within walking distance of food and shopping, which made getting around very easy. Overall, this property delivered a comfortable, quiet, and convenient stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice Hotel. We didn't have the breakfast, but loved the indoor pool. We had issues with our room, but GM Keith Kane jumped right in when he was told, and straightened it right out. We had to stay here because our AC went out. Keith Kane is a great GM and takes real good care of the Hilton Hotel at the Nexton location. Try it out. Sincerely, Rick Lester Linda D'Angelo

The location is nice! They have plenty of parking and are near numerous of delicious places to eat. The rooms are nice but the temperature is either cold or hot with no in-between. We usually have a clean room but this last trip the floor was filthy and the bed had trash in it. I usually don't complain about the room but when you step into the shower you can see how much dirt you pick up just from the entrance way. It was disgusting. The front desk is always helpful and full of smiles! They have snack and small meals upfront along with plastic utensils.

The barn door on the bathroom is very heavy and you have to be careful how far you push it or it will pinch your fingers. We had to ask for washcloths twice, there were none on arrival and the maid didn't leave any when she cleaned. Otherwise everything was great. Very clean. Quiet.
