I booked a room through booking.com and submitted a request for a date change two days before the scheduled check in. I received notification from booking.com stating that the hotel did not respond to a request to authorize the date change on my stay. I spoke to someone at the hotel who said that I needed to speak with booking.com to make the change since I booked through them. I called booking.com back, and they stated that they made a new request for a date change and made a note about the request I made prior to scheduled check in. The hotel charged me a no show fee in spite of the request for cancellation before the policy’s penalty date. When I spoke with the manager on duty during the hour of 7pm on Saturday, 2/28/26, he stated that booking.com did not communicate with the hotel and that I was billed $199 in spite of all of this (and the request to still do business with the hotel for the following weekend). I got angry when the hotel stated I needed to go back through booking.com, and the manager on duty hung up on me! As a result of the run around, you can forget me attempting to book again now and in the future with booking.com or this particular location. Poor customer service and a failure to see that updating my booking date and not charging a no show would earn future sales vs. keeping my money for a no show when I requested a change days before scheduled check in. So short sighted! Your folks need better training!

Nice room but terrible customer service. Got in late around midnight and was sure to let them know i would be arriving late. Arrive after driving and front desk staff was cleaning tables in the lobby and didn’t even stop to greet us. I waited at desk to get a couple hard keys and she didn’t even stop to come get them for us but continued to wipe table tops off and said I’ll be with you in a few minutes. After driving all night the last thing you want to do is wait for someone to wipe off table tops. Then get to the room and toilet doesn’t flush and there is zero body wash in the shower. Asked for a late check out and was told there was none available. Late check out should always be available for Gold Rewards members. The management needs to do better at this location.

Been staying here for several years in January. First time entire breakfast not always open -depends on occupancy. Charge for parking now. Bathroom had a very strong odor. Noticed downstairs ladies room had only one sink working out of three. Were here for four nights. Management gave points for my complaints.

Very nice hotel, decorated nicely for Christmas. Front desk help were both sparky individuals and somewhat difficult to deal with. Lisa didn't seem to know her job very well or was just overwhelmed and missed important details about our booking/stay. We were charged too much, which should have been noticed at check in instead of at check out with a big problem to deal with then. Many other guests were held up from checking out for quite a while due to this issue. Very unprofessional! Room was very nice -clean, comfortable, poor view, nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. One of the best we experienced while traveling. Real eggs!! Nice! Very quiet in an upscale area. Very nice one night stay!! Except for poor attitude and lazy customer service from Lisa-Front Desk...so unnecessary....

Excellent hotel and I really enjoyed my stay there. Tyeshia was very friendly and helpful, once I told her there were several lights not working in the room, she immediately changed the room for me. I travelled from NY, and here things are slower and more chill. I spent two days in Charleston, and this hotel is super close to the French quarter and with reasonable price. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night this week and it was very nice. We had a king suite which was large. Everything was extremely clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. Great view from the room. It was quiet and everything worked properly. Great location with lots to do. Price was on par for the room. Would definitely stay again.

I had to give them 5 stars based on my 6 previous stays in the past couple months. I couldn't base the entirety of the hotel based off 1 person alone. Up until the current stay and halfway into the stay I must make clear, the staff, rooms and even food has been 5 star. Unfortunately tonight I was treated extremely poorly and rudely by the gentleman at the front desk Juwon. So rude that I wouldnt feel comfortable ever coming back, im even packing now to leave a night early. Never had such poor customer service at a hotel before. Every other employee I have dealt with has been wonderful. The manager Randy was great!. Its unfortunate that 1 person could ruin such a great place.

There was no hot water during my stay. Although it was reported multiple times and we were led to believe it was being worked on, we never had a hot shower. Upon reading reviews it’s evident this has been a problem for MONTHS. The front desk staff, although professional was clearly frustrated with complaints from guests. I would not recommend this hotel. I would have loved to have stayed there again but I am very disappointed in the service. We have contacted management and have not gotten a response.

Our church hosted our annual Marriage Retreat here this year. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean! All of our guests had a wonderful time. We utilized the Cooper Room as well as the catering services. Food was fantastic and well presented. The meeting room was well equipped and enough space for 32 people with classroom style and tables. There was a hiccup with room set up when we arrived, but Mr. Smith was quick to sort it out and very kind. Great overall experience! All of these staff below deserves a big kudos ? We paid really good money for what we thought was a wonderful place to stay normally when you book a Hilton room, you are getting a higher quality. We had no hot water for our time here and the coffee maker was absolutely horrifying gross. We had literally the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in. We were there for a wedding, which the majority of the wedding party was booked here in this hotel, which most of them had to leave due to circumstances, at least give me a hot shower and a comfortable bed and clean the coffee maker. That’s the least you could do very disappointed in this Hilton in.
