Great stay and would recommend! Staff were very helpful and kind, hotel is updated, clean, and breakfast was good! Great location if you don’t want to stay downtown but easy to get there.

Overall a really pleasant and comfortable stay. Location is conveniently close to the airport and additionally shuttle service to anywhere within a 5-mile radius is convenient! Although, it is close to the airport, the location is along one of the busiest roads in north Charleston rather than other hotels nearby that are semi-secluded with lesser road traffic. Getting out of the hotel in a vehicle is a waiting game as you have to yield to oncoming traffic. The room is fantastic and clean. I have no complaints whatsoever. It is spacious enough for a solo traveler such as myself.

The hotel was very convenient for us to stay for our daughter's graduation. We were greeted at check in with warm chocolate chip cookies and a friendly clerk. The shuttle took us to the coliseum and we rode back with a family member. The room we had was much larger than a regular room with a large desk and chair, an L shape sofa, 2 queen beds, large bathroom, mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker included. The hvac system was efficient and operated quietly, the blackout curtains were appreciated. The sound was not as bad as I feared due to its close proximity to the airport, there was also an airshow scheduled for that Saturday. The staff was very friendly and seemed interested in making our stay comfortable. The free breakfast was great, much better than the average hotel free breakfast, it featured waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage and some fruit. Coffee was good and they have a nice selection of coffee creamer and tea bags.

This hotel really checked all the boxes for us! Convenient location to downtown, beautiful upscale decor and rooms, without the price tag. Joel at the front desk was always welcoming us with a smile and great service. Our room was great! Spacious and clean. A few things to note....the shelving in the bathroom has peeling paint or plastic and that really stood out amongst the updated decor. Our toilet broke our 1st morning here, but the service was quick to get it repaired! If you like soft, cloud like pillows that sink in, you'll be in heaven! However, it took 3-4 of those super soft pillows to create an ounce of neck and head support. Maybe they could offer a firmer option? The breakfast was beautifully arranged and had a few different options. I do wish they offered pork sausage instead of chicken or in addition to.

We stayed 1 night when visiting town. Nice hotel, clean, with the usual amenities. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Joel at the front desk was great (and funny!) He contacted us after check-in to ensure all was well. We appreciated that. The room was clean, spacious, well laid-out, complete with all toiletries, and a fridge. The hotel was quiet. We could hear planes regularly but not too loud. There was the normal free breakfast fare but it seemed to be better quality food than average. Overall, a very nice 3-star hotel. The location is convenient, just no views - in a commercial area.

Great, friendly service, clean and beautiful hotel. The bed could use an update as it wasn't as comfortable as the Double Tree but was cleaner. The assistant general manager was extremely helpful and even got the pool ready for us as well as showed me how to use the fire pit . He told us it would be cold but we didn't mind coming from Alaska. The breakfast staff kept the food supplies stocked and the area cleaned. They even made my waffle for me. I would recommend staying here, great place!

Great hotel, even better staff. Cierra at the front desk was so helpful in answering all of our questions and helped us schedule our ride to the airport. Clean amenities and lobby smelled very nice walking in. Will be back

A very nice Hotel, updated and spacious rooms and staff were very friendly. Den/entryway was very nice. I think it comes across as an a very nice hotel. Location is right next to the airport, which is perfect with their own business trip and I would definitely stay there again.

This Hampton is absolutely AMAZING! We stay at a lot of hotels and this is probably the BEST we've ever stayed at. The rooms are impeccably clean. The staff is very friendly especially Joel who checked us in. And, its so beautiful in the main lobby area. We will definitely be back if we visit Charleston again!

This is a great hotel. Probably the best free breakfast we’ve had at any hotel. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The whole hotel smelled nice as soon as you walked in. Staff was very accommodating. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.
