I am a big fan of the grand Bohemians in Asheville in Greenville. This is my first visit to the Charleston location. I had to make a last-minute reservation due to some circumstances that were very stressful and the hotel was so magnificent and beautiful. The rooms were perfect. Every single person working there was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The beds are so comfortable. I needed rest and I got two phenomenal nights of sleep. I never even left the hotel because again I had some stressful situations come up and I had to change my travel plans and they were so accommodating and helpful everyone there was just amazing and then the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal and the service in the restaurant was so phenomenal as well. I was there two days had dinner lunch the next day dinner the next night and different servers were working the restaurant each time. It was a slow night, but the food was incredible. The service was incredible. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are quiet and such a great place to get relaxation and peace and five star service in a beautiful atmosphere.

I arrived a bit late , had to wait for valet attendant because he was chatting up some ladies out front. Check in was quick Dropped off stuff in room and wanted to get a night cap before going to bed. Went to the rooftop bar/restaurant and my gosh the male bartender wa extremely rude. I understand you had 30 mins to go and you were probably trying to leave early but there is no reason for the attitude. Finally when I’m paying $800+ for a room valet should be free. Valet cost $58!

Spacious king rooms but only 2 drawers for clothes in the bedroom, only one towel rack and one hook in the huge bathroom! All designed for one person. Curious. Only bedroom window looks down on interior gallery. Fortunately the front desk assures us the glass is one way so visitors to the gallery not staring into our room. Love the location. Staff is friendly. Amenities such as the bars and rooftop dining room are lovely. Just recommend better accommodation in the bedrooms.

We loved our stay! We called on our way and asked if there was a possibility of getting in a room early as we had a toddler that was cranky. Ashley at the front desk was so kind in his efforts to make that happen for us. He gave us lovely recommendations that were perfect. The valet team was efficient getting our car when we needed it. My personal favorite was the fact that they have wooden mini cribs for little ones. 10/10!

First time visiting Charleston in 40 years. I struggled to pick a hotel and this one was absolutely fabulous! Everything was perfect! Champagne at check in, warm cookies in the evening. Room was spacious for 4 adults and beautiful. Very comfortable beds. Valet service was spectacular and every time we walked in they greeted us with cold waters. Braze in valet was so nice and great to chat with. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and so helpful! Will be back without a doubt!

We had the pleasure of staying a couple of nights in late January. Weather was terrible (snow in Charleston) so most of the town was shut down. We had 2 dinners at Eleve and then a wine tasting with Eric. Dinners were great. Service was wonderful. The highlight was the time with Eric. He is knowledgeable and very good at helping us understand wine and our tastes. We had two nights with him and I would highly recommend staying at the hotel just for time in his wine bar. Great job!

I don't have the words to describe how fantastic this hotel is! From the moment you pull into valet parking until the moment you check out, the entire experience is perfect. The staff are so friendly and attentive! From the valet, to the front desk, room service, and everything in between, they're amazing. They really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is top notch! And the decor and ambiance is unmatched. Such fabulous art everywhere! We've stayed here more than once and can't wait to stay again!! (Thank you to Sam for helping us with our booking!! He's more wonderful than words can explain.)

The Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Charleston delivered an outstanding experience, and the valet team truly made it unforgettable. They were, without question, the most impressive valet team I’ve ever encountered. Every interaction was smooth, courteous, and incredibly efficient. Their professionalism, friendliness, and readiness to assist went far beyond expectations and made arriving and departing completely stress-free. It’s clear this team takes great pride in providing top-tier service, and they played a huge role in making my stay exceptional. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice hotel, but I am sorry to say it, a room without a window is not legal anywhere but here for many reasons! We felt claustrophobic, not safe with no egress, unable to get fresh air for my hot flash at night and unable to see if was raining outside. In the morning, the room feels dark and one can not tell the sun has come up. The hotel is nice, staff is very friendly and accommodating and location is good. But in all our travels we have never had a room with no window. This is not legal in most states and actually not legal for private residences in SC, so why would a $500 a night hotel think this is ok for paying guests at a luxury hotel? Nonetheless, the room was quite nicely appointed and comfortable. We attempted to use the gym but it was closed for renovation and were allowed to use a different gym at the Marriot Bonvoy down the street. The hotel did offer to move us for one night saying a large party cancelled and also went out of their way to make us happy, but alas the room with no window really creaped me out. This was far from a 5 star experience. The best features were the roof bar and the lovely breakfast cafe. I should mention that the staff throughout the hotel was amazing and it is not their fault that Marriot rents out this less then legal room.

They were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, always going above and beyond to make everything seamless. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist with directions, recommendations, and quick service truly stood out. The level of hospitality provided by the valet team made this stay memorable and elevated the entire experience. I can’t recommend the Grand Bohemian enough an amazing hotel with an even more amazing team.
