This was our second trip to Charleston over the last 10 years. The location of this hotel is amazing. You have views of the water. You have a rooftop where you can hang out, they do provide continental breakfast, which are fantastic. They have evening wine Time at five-six pm and even Milk and cookies! That starts at 9 PM. I cannot say enough about the staff. Every person was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to come back here or recommend this place if you’re staying in Charleston, the extra bonus for us was the blue angels were practicing for their show and we got to see them fly over the hotel and the water. It was amazing.

Great hotel. Our room was very spacious and had water views. The best hotel we have stayed at that is not a 5 Star Luxury hotel and this boutique hotel is right up there in my opinion. The following are the reasons I recommend this hotel and it’s because of the little things that matter and stand out. They provide an abundance of towels without you having to ask. The atrium always has free coffee, tea and fruit plus ice cold flavored waters. Free wine and cheese in the lobby between 5 and 6pm. Free milk and cookies in the evening. Free bottled water. Robe and slippers are provided. They also provide a quality continental breakfast. And the staff is top notch I highly recommend this hotel.

We started out at a Marriott roughly a mile away from downtown Charleston. When we got there it was a terrible experience so we cancelled our reservation and had to find a new hotel. We showed up here on a whim to see if they had any rooms available. We were met by the kindest people. They got us a room right away. Every morning breakfast is included as well as a cheese and wine hour and cookies and milk hour. The service here was unbeatable. When we got to the room, I almost cried because of how different it was than our previous hotel. It felt like a cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed. To say they made our anniversary weekend special is and understatement. Thank you to all the staff who served us. We will definitely be back!

We booked here at our friend’s recommendation and didn’t give it much thought when booking. We were so impressed with our entire stay. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was comfortable and sound machine was an extra bonus. Complimentary room service breakfast was awesome, and while we didn’t get to try, the happy hour and turn-down milk and cookies were nice offerings. It was nice to be away from King Street but walkable to everything we needed. Valet parking was also convenient and fast. We will return!

It’s true what they say about Southern hospitality! The staff here were incredible, especially Jodi, who noted our recent engagement and went above and beyond to suggest fun things to do downtown. Our room had a beautiful view of the water, and the iconic Pineapple Fountain was only a two minute walk from the hotel. I would absolutely recommend the HarbourView Inn to anyone wanting to fully experience Charleston! An added bonus was the complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese hour, and the late night milk and cookies, a perfect way to end each day of exploring:)

Loved the hotel and staff. We just weren't warned that they were undergoing elevator repairs until we were halfway into our 6 hour trip there. They did give us a room on the first floor (which is actually the second floor). They did have valet to assist with getting luggage up the stairs. Normally wouldn't have been an issue but I was just 2 months out from my second knee replacement in 9 months. I would stay here again and we had a great view of the fountain from our room. And it was a short walk to the pineapple fountain.

From the moment we arrived the staff at HarbourView Inn made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable – we slept like logs! The breakfast offered a fantastic variety of fresh, tasty options, and the coffee was excellent. We especially appreciated the convenient location, just a short walk from major attractions and great restaurants, making exploring the city a breeze. The front desk staff was always helpful, especially Jodi, with recommendations and directions, and the quick, trouble-free check-in/out process was a bonus. She went above and beyond which made our stay exceptional. Her professionalism and care are a credit to your hotel. This hotel exceeded our expectations with its attention to detail and warm hospitality. We'll definitely be back for our next visit to Charleston!

This place is FANTASTIC. My wife and I have had the privilege of staying at the HarbourView Inn twice now, and both times we’ve been blown away by the beauty of the location and the outstanding service. I’d be lying if I said we didn’t have one problem with our stay… We had our daughters with us during our recent stay and now they expect this kind of experience every time! Eek! Seriously, thank you for taking care of us during our stay in Charleston. This city means a lot to us and staying here makes it an all around amazing experience every time.

It is a Hotel‘s job to meet guests expectations. Some even strive to exceed them. But I am rarely delighted. As a former hotel GM I do pay attention to the small details. This property consistently delights. It’s not just a location, the thoughtfully, curated, snacks, and wonderful rooms. It is the people who make this hotel so special. Special shout out to melanie is an exceptional representative of this property, as all the employees are, but she especially went above and beyond to make sure my stay was exceptional. I hope you will recognize her for her service and commitment to exceeding your hospitality brand. You spent my wedding night in this hotel 23 years ago So much has changed in an hour, beloved holy city I hope the Harbor view Inn never does

We had a fantastic stay at HarbourView Inn. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Every interaction felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere of this beautiful, quaint hotel truly reminded us of Europe. Charming, elegant, and peaceful, it made our time in Charleston even more special. We could not have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.
