I cannot say enough good things about The Restoration Charleston. From the minute we arrived, every moment was met with diligent customer service down to the finest detail. It is obvious that management takes great pride in maintaining their hotel. Our room was more luxurious than many Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Accessible to shopping, dining and their pool is quite lovely to relax and socialize with other guests. This was our first time at this hotel, and we are definitely coming back. We thank the staff of The Restoration for their beautiful accommodations and their kind and dedicated team.

We enjoyed our stay here and we would come back! The room was nice: it was large, the bed was comfortable, nice bathroom, and had a kitchenette. The location was perfect, right off of King Street and walkable to everything. The staff were nice and personable. We took advantage of the Jeep service multiple times. My only complaint, and the reason I’m giving 4 stars, would be the pool, which is a lot smaller than it looks in pictures and severely lacks seating. There are only 2 lounging seats, and the rest of the seating is upright patio chairs. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend staying here!

If you are considering a trip to Charleston I can’t recommend The Restoration enough. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Matthew and LaSharia made our stay exceptional with attention to every little detail. You can tell the staff really cares about guest experience and hospitality. The rooms are luxurious and thoughtfully curated, a kitchenette and rainfall shower make it feel just like home and allow you to really settle in. One of the favorite amenities was the complimentary breakfast basket delivered to our door each morning. Being on vacation and having one less thing to think about or plan in the morning added to the ease of trip and our stay. Make sure to make time for a drink at The Watch, which offers panoramic views of the city and stop by the social hour from 5-6pm in the library for a complimentary drink and charcuterie. The hotel location is one of the best in the city, just steps off of King Street and all of the best shopping in Charleston. The Restoration exceeded every expectation we had. We will certainly be back and are already planning a stay at their sister property in Asheville, NC. Thank you, thank you, thank you Restoration team!

This is the most unique property we have ever stayed in! We booked a 1 bedroom residence with a balcony and received amazing breakfast baskets every morning!! Just enough healthy treats for family of 3 to start our day. What a lovely touch?! The entire staff are wonderful collection of people who made our stay so memorable. The food and drinks were great too along side all amenities!! Not to mention the location is prime to downtown shopping and 20 mins to the beach. There is a special boutique right around the corner with incredible and versatile finds - Hazel Twenty. :)

We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Restoration Charleston. LaSharia was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Her outstanding hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Our residence was amazing—it truly felt like a home away from home. The accommodations were spacious, beautifully appointed, and the sheets were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. The location was perfect, with shopping just a short walk away and easy access to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for a relaxing weekend getaway and would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal hotel. Our first time and will make it our Charleston go-to. Fantastic, spacious, well-furnished rooms and with comforting touches - w happy hour, complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bars, delivered breakfast, popcorn, etc. Not at all a hotel feel. And fabulous service and managers - William, LaShara, and Matthew are super sharp, friendly, fun, helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus, terrific location. Very appreciative!

Cute hotel close to busy shopping and great eateries. Upon check-in we were notified the elevator was broken and unless we wanted to carry our bags upstairs they recommended we give them a little time to get it fixed. Once we returned we were told it was still out of order and they almost have it fixed. After another hour or so upon returning we told them we just wanted to check into the room, only to be told that there was more than one elevator and the other elevator was working fine but taking longer than normal due to the additional traffic. I'm not sure why we would not have been told that from the get-go. Once in the room we were pleased overall, however, there is a large fluorine seam of two different heights running down the middle, creating a trip hazard. For the price of the suite, I would highly recommend the flooring be addressed, when navigating at night. It's a trip hazard. More importantly, the water temp. It is beyond scalding hot. I'm all for a hot shower etc. This would create significant injury if you could actually hold your hands etc under the water long enough. It's well above health code. 120° limit. Should be addressed for the safety of guests immediately.

My husband & I recently stayed for 3 nights with our 5 month old and we were blown away by the hospitality, cleanliness, amenities & perks of this hotel. Our King suite was perfect for us, with a kitchenette and living area to set up the pack & play for our baby that they kindly provided to us. The daily breakfast baskets and happy hours every evening were such nice touches! Staff were all incredibly kind and accommodating. The location is impossible to beat, so central and walkable to everything. We look forward to coming back!

I couldn't be happier that we chose this hotel for our first visit to Charleston. Our room was perfect and the hotel was quiet. I love that The Rise Coffee Bar is attached. The daily breakfast basket was a treat even when we went out for breakfast. Having some fruit or a breakfast pastry to start the day off was great. I asked for extra popcorn and Coca-Cola, and both were expeditiously provided. We requested rides to the aquarium and African American Museum on different days, and Matthew, the guest experience manager, was gracious in driving us to our destinations at the exact times we were hoping for. The location of the hotel - right off King Street - was so perfect. We averaged about 12k steps per day exploring the shops, historic landmarks, museums and restaurants. The bathtub in our room was perfectly slanted. I would love to come back to this hotel!

This place does it right. What blew me and my wife away was the micro attention to detail and the countless additional extra touches. We woke up to a breakfast basket everyday. Complimentary snacks when we arrive. Complimentary car service. The wine and cheese happy hour. Even the key card had a unique holder. The owners of this place and the staff add so much unexpected value and service and it made it that much more special.
