Outstanding experience at the Wentworth Mansion. Beautiful architecture, extremely friendly and courteous staff, very good breakfast, peaceful and tranquil environment. Loved the living quarters. The food at Circa 1886 was fantastic. Felt treated as a Special Guest. Definitely, look forward to staying again in the future!!!

The historic Wentworth Mansion is truly like taking a step back in time. It’s not only gorgeous, but their hospitality and service is second to none. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne, but it didn’t stop there. The stay also includes an exclusive breakfast at Circa 1886 (complete with pastries & fruit on top of the entree you pick), & daily hors d’oeuvres with wine! It will be very hard to come visit Charleston & not stay here! 10/10!

We had a great stay here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Everything was excellent from the service to the room to the location. We definitely will recommend to friends and family. Thank you wentworth team for making our stay so memorable and special. We loved going out on the cupola in the evening after dinner.

Went away for the weekend and the stay was incredible. Even if you don't like historical buildings, this is a place to stay at least once in your lifetime. The rooms were nice and quiet. The service for everyone on staff was great. They were all super friendly and helpful. Their goal is to make your stay a happy one and it showed. The breakfast at Circa was phenomenal. I could eat their fresh pastries all day, everyday. The mansion is less than a 10 minute walk from King Street in a very quiet area. You can't go wrong with staying here.

My daughter and I spent a long weekend at the Wentworth. We had a wonderful time. Coffee and fresh pastries every morning. Wonderful made to order breakfast at the restaurant. Wonderful hors d’oeuvres and wine during social hour in the evening. The Wentworth is located just a 10 minute walk from everything we were looking for. Loved that the neighborhood was so quiet and safe. Every morning I walked to the wellness center to work out. I felt very safe the whole time. My daughter and I spent quite a bit of time in the garden outback. The view from the rooftop was incredible for both sunrises and sunsets. The staff absolutely went above and beyond. I will definitely be back.

Wentworth Mansion is an amazing place to stay when traveling to Charleston. You’re treated as royalty and you want for nothing. Staff, food, and the mansion are definitely a 5 star. If I could give a million stars I would. Already scheduled my trip there for August!

We absolutely loved our anniversary trip here! The service was impeccable, the wine and appetizers every night was a nice touch and gave us opportunities to mingle and meet other guests. The history and classic feel of the hotel was so unique and we enjoyed it. The room had a fireplace in the room and in the bathroom which was cool! The knowledge of the history from the staff was really impressive and we enjoyed hearing about it. We would absolutely come back. Circa 1886 was fantastic as well! Breakfast over there was amazing and dinner was wow!

Our stay was awesome. The house is so charming and Lisa, Bryan, and Tristan were a huge help in making our stay special. We had the best time with Bryan touring the house and hearing all of the stories from the past. He made our stay memorable. Well be back!

Wentworth Mansion has been a bucket list hotel for me, and we had an incredible stay! As one would expect, all aspects were really perfect. Check-in included a tour of the mansion and review of the amenities. All of the staff were perfectly attentive and helpful, and we really enjoyed talking to them. We had a snow storm during our stay, and they handled it all very well. I found that they did a great job informing of all you need to know about various times for breakfast, evening reception, etc. We had booked an East Wing room -- the most basic room -- and were upgraded to a Mansion Room due to my Hilton status. Complimentary items included: in-room stocked mini-fridge (Coke, DC, water, sparkling water), cooked-to-order breakfast at Circa 1886 restaurant, evening hors d'oeuvres and wine, morning pastries and coffee (as well as the breakfast), complimentary valet parking. The room was lovely and included a working gas fireplace, in-room coffee/espresso, stocked mini-fridge, separate jetted tub and shower, L'Occitane bath products, robes, etc. It was beautiful and functional and surprisingly quiet. We spent a lot of time by the fire reading. Turn down service included a card that reviewed the forecast both in Charleston and at our home location, which was a nice touch. There are also several spaces through the mansion that a great to sit and talk or read. The TV in the room had tons of channels and also allowed for mirroring from person devices for streaming. Breakfast we delicious, as was expected due to the strong ratings of Circa 1886 restaurant. They are open only for guests of the hotel at breakfast. Service was lovely and included pastries, fruit, and choice of entree. Standard drinks and coffee were complimentary with additional cost for espresso or alcohol. I cannot recommend Wentworth Mansion more highly! We hope to experience a stay here again one day.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The staff; waitstaff in the breakfast restaurant, Circa 1886, absolutely wonderful. Inside the hotel, Bryan, Marvin, Fiona, Tristan, Lisa and the rest of their employees couldn't be friendlier or more professional. Our room was wonderful. There is nothing critical i can say about this hotel. We'll be back.
