Wow! One of the nicest places that I have ever stayed. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle, we knew that the service here would be unmatched. Every employee that we encountered was over the top helpful and genuine. They made us feel like we were the most important guests there. The lobby is very impressive with beautiful flowers, marble floors, beautiful paintings, and of course, Southern Charm. We were greeted with bottled water and sparkling wine at check-in. The bellhop brought our luggage to the room later. The room was clean and stunning. The bathroom was over than ours at home. We had a corner room with a desk and couch. There are drinks and snacks for purchase in the room. Bottled water and coffee are inclusive. The rooftop bar and pool are incredible. The views of the cityscape and ocean water are breathtaking. Drinks and tapas and reasonably priced. There is a bar in the lobby as well as a champagne & caviar bar. Although we didn’t go, there is some lounge and restaurant area on the 6th floor that can be added as an all-inclusive option. There is also a nice pastry shop connected to the hotel were we had coffee and breakfast before heading to the beach. Note that valet is $60 per day. Overall, we felt like royalty and can’t wait to stay at Hotel Bennett again.

If you are staying at Hotel Bennett, do yourself a favor and find Kevin, the concierge. We traveled from Los Angeles to Charleston and have stayed at our fair share of luxury hotels, but the experience Kevin provided was on an entirely different level. Kevin is pure high-energy brilliance. His enthusiasm for Charleston is contagious, and he didn’t just point us toward the standard tourist spots or restaurant recommendations—he opened doors to the city’s soul. He took us on an unforgettable walk through the oldest, most hidden sections of Charleston—places most visitors will never even know exist. We were guided through: • Secret alleyways and quiet courtyards that felt completely tucked away from the modern world. • Stunning hidden fountains and incredible old trees that make you feel like you've stepped back into the 1700s. • Historic neighborhoods with homes that have been so perfectly preserved, it feels like the past is still alive. Because of Kevin, we captured photos and saw views that you simply cannot find on your own. You need someone who truly understands the heartbeat of this city, and Kevin is that person. This was easily one of the most special experiences we’ve had on any trip. Bottom line: Don't just settle for a map. Meet Kevin. He doesn't just give advice; he provides a masterclass in the "real" Charleston. Highly recommended!

Our family was in town for the extremely busy Cooper River Bridge 10k this weekend and Hotel Bennet was so awesome! It’s right in the heart of the city and central to everything you need. The check in experience was so great, Brooke helped us get in, she got us champagne and chatted with us about our hometown in FL! The concierge got us great reservations at a local restaurant on one of the busiest weekends of the year. Every worker we came in contact was so pleasant and nice. Rooms, amenities, fitness area, and atmosphere were great as well. Everything seems like it’s brand new and updated. We loved everything about our stay here! We didn’t even get a rental car and had every option we needed within walking distance. The best restaurants, a target, Walgreens, and like every boutique store and local store you could want. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is great hotel centrally located in Charleston. The area is full of shopping and restaurants. There is very little street parking but the hotel has valet parking and there is a garage across the street. The staff are well trained, gracious and efficient - true exemplars of Southern hospitality. The hotel is decorated in a subdued classic style throughout. The restaurant was great as was the afternoon tea on Sunday and the patisserie. The spa on the second floor was also excellent. The gym is small but has everything you need for a decent workout including Peloton bikes which was nice. We didn't visit the rooftop or the pool but that'll be something to look forward to next time. The room was clean, spacious and elegant. The room service and housekeeping were also excellent. Will stay here again.

Really wonderful stay. Service fantastic. We spent almost $1000 per night, as it's overpriced like all other hotels in Charleston, but it was a lovely stay. Rooms and bathrooms nice and clean and the staff across the hotel, esp. the concierge and front door men, fantastic. No complaints

Flawless hotel! We absolutely loved our couples weekend away in Charleston, in large part because our stay was so perfect the Hotel Bennett. Gorgeous hotel, perfect location, elegant rooms, zero complaints. Shoutout to the soaking tub with retractable doors that allowed us to enjoy the view to the park outside the hotel. We debated heavily between The Charleston Place and Hotel Bennett too, so if you’re on the fence, you can’t go wrong with HB.

We were out in Charleston on a bachelorette trip walking back to our hotel after dinner when we got caught up in a downpour of rain. We took shelter under the awning of the Bennett. Two doormen out front kindly offered us to come inside and suggested that we go to the bar to wait out the weather. When we got to the bar we proceeded to have the best experience with Logan, the bartender. He was extremely accommodating and provided excellent service. He made stellar versions of the drinks we requested! This became one of the best experiences of our trip! Very classy place. This was an absolutely beautiful place with every detail of decoration carefully thought out. Such an unexpected treat in the middle of the downpour!

What a lovely experience the Hotel Bennett was. My wife and I came for our anniversary, and we were truly grateful for our decision to come here. The price of the rooms very much reflects the level of service and care you receive while you are here. We got the basic king sized room, but the space was more than enough for us, and the room itself was gorgeous. The staff here were some of the most friendly and attentive staff I have had the pleasure of meeting. Our rooms were cleaned and serviced 2-3 times a day, depending on whether we were in the room still. They leave little dark chocolates on the pillows for the evening, and it’s such a lovely little touch. The bathtub was quite large, enough for both me and my wife to very comfortably bathe in together. The shower was quite spacious as well. The hotel itself was immaculate, so very clean and smelled wonderful throughout (a common issue we’ve had with many hotels we’ve stayed at). The lobby itself was very welcoming, and so very beautiful. We were so caught up in the beauty and comfort, we forgot to take more pictures of it all. Also, talk to the concierges here if this is your first visit to Charleston, especially Kevin. There people know everything you could want about this city. Kevin managed to get us into Halls Chophouse down the road that I had been trying to get a reservation for over a month with a night notice. They are very skilled at what they do, and will help make your trip even more memorable. My wife and I will definitely be back here again in future visits, and would recommend anyone wanting a beautifully comfortable stay to choose the Hotel Bennett.

Quite fancy this time of year. Hotel lobby all decorated for Christmas but not a lot of screaming kids. Thank god. We are and drank at a table kind of in the hallway around the corner from the lobby bar. Fantastic waiter. Wish I remembered his name. If your his boss you need to know how good he was. So I'm going to describe him. I apologize to anyone I offend with my description. Not really. He looked about 30. Dark hair a little long. Spanish or Latin descent I would guess. Maybe a slight accent but not distinct enough to identify. He knew the menu well and assisted us in ordering. All of his recommendations were perfect.
