The French Quarter Inn consistently receives rave reviews, praised for its exceptional service, prime Charleston location, and luxurious amenities. Guests highlight the hotel's charming atmosphere, attentive staff, and delightful complimentary offerings like wine, cheese, breakfast, and nightly treats, creating a truly memorable experience.
We visited Charleston and we stayed at French Quarter Inn, we had one of the best experiences. The place was amazing very clean and spacious the customer service was unbelievable, everyone was professional and friendly. They provide the best hospitality you can experience. We definitely recommend the hotel. We can’t wait to visit again.
My family and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn for three nights. We loved it! This boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston was beautiful, clean, and very well managed. The staff worked very hard and they very friendly. Kim at the front desk was amazing! The complimentary breakfast buffet was great! The hotel also had a wine and cheese hour, which was also complimentary. And, our children definitely enjoyed the milk and cookies in the evening, which was also part of the stay. Definitely coming back here!
Everything about this hotel is perfect. It really enhanced the Charleston experience. The plentiful food, the incredible service and the beautiful building combine to make this experience everything you’d hope it would be. I just completed a long road trip across the US and this was easily the best hotel i stayed at. I had a minor issue and they went above and beyond to make it better.
We had the pleasure of spending 6 nights at the French Quarter Inn at the end of May / June 2026. Given the length of our stay we upgraded to the King Junior Suite and found it to be a delightful room. The INN being central to the City Market and offers quick access to shops, restaurants and historic churches. We were able to use it as a base for walking to dinner each night 5 to minutes to the cities top restaurants, and exploring the city center. When our car was needed IAAM museum or plantation visit etc it was an easy ingress and egress location. Breakfast can be brought to your room or an expanded version is available in the lobby or a cute patio adjacent. We alternated to keep things fresh. Room was very clean and surprisingly very quiet for a central city. location. Staff pleasant engaging and helpful when needed. Turn down service at night. The hotel is fastidious about minor details all which lead to a wonderful stay. A Delightful Stay!
we just went for my daughters graduation and the hotel treated us with nothing but first class and our experience was amazing. Location was perfect to walk to everything. Staff and accommodations was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here our next trip
Really enjoyed our stay at the French Quarter Inn this past weekend. The room was spacious and clean and the common areas were well laid out and stocked with fun stuff to do. The complimentary breakfast, evening cookies and milk and wine and cheese tastings were delicious and levels above any other hotel we have experienced in recent memory. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the local area (restaurants, shopping and tourist stops). The valet even took the initiative to pre-charge our EV before our departure at their convenient charging station near the hotel entrance. We could not have asked for a better experience.
My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn for a couple of nights and fell in love with the hotel. Great service throughout our stay. The valet parking took care of the vehicle and had our luggage in the room before we made it to the room. Check-in was really nice with complementary champagne. The room was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, and decorated very nicely. Great complementary breakfast offered, and we really enjoyed the complementary Wine & Cheese hour + the warm Cookies and Milk hour offered a little later. They offer a very nice courtyard to sit and enjoy everything, and the Lobby area is extremely nice and inviting. Service was exceptional. The location is perfect. We walked to everything. Good selection of restaurants are very close, and next door is the outdoor market that is nice to visit. Overall I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn in Charleston this past weekend for our elopement, and it was truly exceptional. There wasn’t a single detail that wasn’t thoughtfully taken care of. We had a gorgeous, spacious room with a balcony, and it immediately set the tone for a relaxing and special stay. One of our favorite touches was being able to order breakfast delivered to our room every morning, such a luxury. The nightly turndown service with water and chocolate was another thoughtful detail that made us feel so cared for. There was even a note card letting you know the weather for the next day! The bathroom was beautiful, the location was perfect (close to everything we needed), and the staff went above and beyond. On our wedding day, we were surprised with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which meant so much to us and made the day even more memorable. The hotel also offers cookies and milk each night, plus a candy station that we definitely enjoyed! We genuinely wanted for nothing the entire stay, the French Quarter Inn truly thinks of everything. We 100% intend to return. If you want your time in Charleston to feel extra special, book this place. It made our elopement weekend unforgettable.
Wonderful hotel! My husband and I stayed over a long weekend to celebrate his birthday. I think above all else, the service was the most stand out part of our experience. All of the employees were so kind and helpful, but Bob (front desk) was top tier! The staff was so thoughtful, in our room, they left a handwritten birthday card, chocolates, cologne, champagne, and a candle to celebrate my hubs. The breakfast was lovely, but I think our favorite was the room service. They also had 3 types of candy available 24/7 for free at the front desk. Though we didn't use the free bikes, they were super cute, and plenty were available. The happy hour was also excellent. The hotel itself is older, but it's kept up immaculately - lots of charm. It also felt intimate and quiet, even during the social times (which is wonderful). The French Quarter Inn was a huge part of our amazing first trip to Charleston. We will definitely be returning.
I have so many good things to say about this place. First off, the service is excellent! It's a gorgeous property and convenient location. Rooms are clean and maintained. The breakfast, wine and cheese hour, and cookies and milk are such a nice touch! We loved that they even have hot water, coffee, sparkling water, etc. all day long. If you're searching for a luxury hotel that's perfect for walking into town, then look no further.
